Is there an app account to delete?
Sync does not create a StatEdu account, so there is no app account to close. Manage Microsoft or Apple accounts with those providers. Website administrator WordPress accounts are separate from app use.
Control synchronization and local data
- Stop automatic work: turn off schedules and automatic execution, confirm active work has stopped, and quit the app including its tray process.
- Remove folder connections: remove unneeded folder pairs. Removing a setting does not remove all originals, destination files or backups.
- Manage retained versions: review deletion candidates in the retention/cleanup feature. Deleting a version prevents restoring that version. Check whether other operations depend on shared backups.
- Remove settings and logs: after quitting, identify the app data and separate backup locations. Locations vary by installation. Ask support if unsure. Do not guess and delete source folders or recovery data for unfinished work.
You can also revoke operating-system folder permissions or change share permissions. Uninstalling does not erase every copy; manage copies on removable media, network shares and external cloud services at those destinations.
Delete information sent to StatEdu
Where possible, write from the address used for the original request to sync@statedu.com. State whether you request access, correction, deletion or restriction, and provide the approximate correspondence date and only the details needed to identify it. Do not send an identity document or original files upfront.
We perform necessary identity checks and respond with the result or explain any retention requirement. The link opens an email draft; it does not confirm receipt or automatically erase information. StatEdu cannot remotely delete files on your device.
