Terms & license information

1. Scope

This information covers StatEdu Sync and its official website. Store-acquired apps are also subject to the relevant store terms and applicable app license. Nothing here restricts mandatory consumer rights.

2. Use and file management

Sync compares, synchronizes, preserves and restores files in folders you are authorized to access. You must have the necessary rights to access and use selected files and review the direction, conflict choices and deletion changes before running an operation.

Disconnected drives, insufficient space, permission changes or damaged files may prevent completion. Keep independent backups of important information. Restore depends on the availability and condition of retained copies; Sync does not guarantee recovery of every file.

3. Licenses and intellectual property

Rights in the app and website belong to StatEdu or their respective owners. Rights in your selected files remain with you or their original owners; using Sync does not transfer them to StatEdu. Open-source components are governed by their respective licenses. Nothing here restricts acts allowed by applicable law or those licenses.

For Apple App Store distribution, the Apple Standard EULA applies where no custom EULA has been registered. This page is not a custom EULA replacing that agreement. For Microsoft Store distribution, consult the license and terms shown in that store.

4. Availability, pricing and refunds

Consult the official distribution page or store for actual availability, price and installation conditions. Preparing a store submission does not mean approval or release. This website currently provides no direct checkout or subscription enrollment.

For a store purchase, use that store's order history and refund process. Official links are available on our Support page. Eligibility depends on applicable law and the transaction terms.

5. Updates and responsibility

Features and supported environments may differ by version. Relevant changes are reflected in official information. Responsibility for unauthorized use or failures involving external drives and shares depends on the circumstances. This information does not exclude liability for StatEdu's intentional misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
